YUM Repository Launched

A long-awaited Yellowdog Updater, Modifier (yum) repository has been set up and is now available for use. The yum is not only a recommended but also much more convenient way of installing UniMRCP and all the required dependencies.

UniMRCP 1.3.0 Released

This release provides fixes for a number of issues reported by Coverity. The output directories layout now can be fully customized by user applications or be loaded from a configuration file. The GNU build has been enhanced to better support newer versions of autotools. New binary distributions for Windows and RHEL/CentOS 6 are available.

UniMRCP Dependencies 1.3.0 Released

The APR-util library has been upgraded to the latest version 1.5.4. The implementation of apr_thread_name_set() recently added to the APR library has been fixed. There have been a number of minor compilation, logging, and TLS related issues fixed in the Sofia-SIP library. Binary packages for Win and RHEL 6 are also available.

Coverity Scan Successfully Passed

Coverity Scan, a robust static code analysis tool, initially reported more than 50 potential defects in the UniMRCP source code. Although nothing major affecting a real use-case popped up, among the reported issues were potential NULL pointer dereferences, an overflowed array index read, overlapping buffer copies and some others, which are undoubtedly worth having fixed.
