Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lex Plugin 2.9.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.
The plugin is based on the following components:
- UniMRCP Server 1.7.0
- AWS SDK 1.11.469
- AWS Lex V2
- Libevent 2.1.9
- Libnghttp2 1.42.0
The plugin is available for the following UMS versions:

- 1.8.0

This release allows to use a custom service endpoint. The release also provides a few enhancements and fixes.
The detailed list of changes introduced in this release follows.
New Features
- Make sure to have a unique Lex session id for each turn initiated in the scope of the same MRCP session.
- Send blank audio data to Lex while there is no activity detected.
- Allow to override service endpoint.
Fixed Problems
- Fixed a race condition in expiration of no-input timeout and reception of results from Lex which could possibly cause a segfault.
Configuration Parameters
- Added a new attribute 'blank-audio-period' to the element 'streaming-recognition'.
- Added a new attribute 'service-uri' to the element 'streaming-recognition'.
Miscellaneous
- Updated the Usage Guide to reflect the changes introduced in this release.
